I’m excited to announce a new item that I will be carrying from now on - Convertible Cabled Mittens. I’ve had quite a few requests for convertible mittens and I decided it’s time to write up a pattern and make it happen.  I’m so excited by how they turned out and I hope you will be too!

 

This item will mostly be a custom order item, but you may see some ready to ship items list here and there depending on how busy I am. 

The cables repeat 7 times and run from the base to the top edge of the mitten including the cap. A cap is crocheted into the mitten to be folded back for use of your fingers. At the top of the cap there is a small chain that when folded down will loop over a small button sewn into the base of the third cable. This will keep the cap from flapping around and getting in your way. Into the thumb of the mitten I have created a peek-a-boo hole so that you are also able to get your thumb in and out.  Having use of all your fingers at any time while still being able to keep them nice and toasty when not needed, make these convertible mittens the PERFECT accessory for the chilly weather.
