Welcome, Fall.

Time for me to come out of hiding over here on my blog.  The summer has been crazy for us as it is I’m sure for most with kids.  We were kept very busy and I didn’t have a lot of time to devote to crafting.  I did a little here and there as time permitted, but never had much time to talk about what I was up to.

So here in Pennsylvania, Fall is here.  It’s been chilly in the mornings and evenings.  I’ve unpacked all my yarn goodies.  I have been reaching for my fingerless mittens, especially in the mornings when I’m off to take the kids to school and hats are no longer something to make and lay to the side.  It’s Fall!  I love Fall!

I thought I would catch this site up a bit just showing some of the things I’ve been up to in my absence.  I’ll share my new products with you in a few new posts over the next few days.  And as always, you can find me over on Facebook to keep up with the latest as well.

This is a cowl I made for myself using 100% organic marino yarn and Tessa Ann buttons.  If you have not had the pleasure of seeing Tessa Ann’s work, please take a moment and head over to her Etsy page - http://www.etsy.com/shop/tessaann - She does amazing work.

I played around with the idea of crocheted cuffs/bracelets.  My daughter loves these and has snagged a few of the ones that had been intended for the shop.  ;)

This cute little guy was a gift for a friends precious new baby girl.  I used Lion Brand Yarn’s Baby’s First Yarn.  It’s a SUPER soft cotton/acrylic blend yarn.  This little puppy is so soft and squishy!

Using this adorable owl fabric, I made myself a project bag and appliqued a tank top for my daughter.  I hope to make more of these project bags in many different sizes to have in my shop at some point “soon”.  They have so many uses other than just for your yarn crafting projects!

Using the same stitch pattern as my waves cowl, I made this jewelry hanger for a friend’s birthday.  It’s a picture frame with a piece of fabric over the backing piece and the piece of crochet work where the photo would be.  This is perfect to store your hanging earrings on and display them beautifully.

I crocheted this cute little shirt for my daughter.

I look forward to sharing some of the projects and new products that I’m working on to have up in my shop!
